The first phase of our monitoring system in the Rječina River estuary is now installed, thanks to funding from Croatian Science Foundation and Geolux! We now have:
- One tidal station at the Port of Rijeka
- One hydrological station upstream measuring both water levels and discharges
This advanced system will give us deeper insights into tidal dynamics and river inflows at our pilot site, helping us uncover the mechanisms behind compound flooding in coastal rivers. 
This is also a crucial step toward better understanding flood risks in Rijeka!
