Our team members Ivona Petković and Marta Marija Gržić participated in EVAN 2026 – International Conference on Advances in Extreme Value Analysis and Application to Natural Hazards, held from 20 to 24 July 2026 at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands.
Two studies addressing different aspects of compound and coastal flooding along the Croatian Adriatic coast were presented at the conference:
Joint Analysis of Storm Surge and Directional Wave Extremes for Coastal Hazard Assessment in Rovinj, Croatia (Ivona Petković)
Seasonal Regimes of Compound Flood Drivers in a Coastal Catchment: The Rječina Case Study (Marta Marija Gržić)
EVAN 2026 provided a great opportunity to exchange knowledge, discuss methodological advances in extreme value analysis, and connect with researchers working on natural hazards and compound extremes.
We are glad to have presented the latest results of the 4seaflood project and shared our research with the international scientific community!
