Last week we attended the European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly in Vienna, where we presented some preliminary results on the compound flood potential in the coastal areas of Croatia caused by the co-occurrence of high river flows and storm surges.
These analyzes can help to identify the coastal rivers that are more susceptible to compound flooding and then carry out detailed analyzes at the local level, which is planned for the next period.
