Nino Krvavica spoke at a round table on climate change, presenting the 4SEAFLOOD project, which addresses the risks of compound flooding\u2014when multiple flood sources co-occurr, causing severe impacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Understanding compound flooding is crucial for civil engineers because it enhances risk assessment, informs resilient infrastructure design, aids in developing adaptation strategies, and guides effective policy and planning.
